We are pleased to announce support for Ubuntu 9.10 on our VPS platform. Virtual Server customers can now select Ubuntu 9.10 from the distribution list when deploying a new virtual server disk.
Ubuntu 9.10 is also available for dedicated server customers.
Kernel version 220.127.116.11-NDCHost_2 is now available in our VPS manager. This kernel version is now what’s also used when you select the ‘linux 2.6 latest’ option. Customers using 18.104.22.168-NDCHost_1 can continue to use this version if they wish. There are no known security issues with it at this time and this version is still available for selection in the manager.
We are pleased to announce the unveiling of our new VPS2048 package! This package offers customers another level of VPS service that we expect to further bridge the resource and price gap between a VPS host and a dedicated server. As the name implies, the new VPS2048 includes 2048MB of memory (2GB), in addition to increases in disk space, bandwidth, and CPU allotment. As with all of our VPS plans (with the exception of the VPS256) the new package also includes cPanel free of charge.
